The Downhill tyre designed to go down the muddy tracks.

More grip: It stands out on the muddy grounds thanks to its sculptured tread and ensures you a maximum grip on soft grounds. Optimised to self clean with enhanced braking and improved angle grip in mud and soft terrain. With its twisted tread design, Magi-X DH rubber compound, DownHill Shield casing and Cuttable Blocks technology DH Mud allows you to excel in all wet conditions. Adaptable to all types of terrain, dry or wet, without compromising its performance thanks to Cuttable Blocks technology.

More protection: Thanks to its double-reinforced Down Hill Shield casing and puncture-resistant reinforcement, which gives you maximum control at low pressure (decreases flexing). Bead to bead double defense 4xPly improves lateral stffness with improved sidewall robustness.

Other Technology: Pinch Protection technology, which absorbs the energy from pinch flats.

Features

RUBBERS
All of MICHELIN’s experience has gone into defining these latest mixes, allowing mountain bikers to obtain the optimal performance compromise between grip, efficiency and wear. Compound are produced in varying levels of shore hardness the lower the index value, the greater the gum softness; conversely, as the index value rises, the gum becomes harder.

BI-COMPOUND: Magi-X-DH: Rubber compound specifically designed for Downhill for maximum grip in wet and dry conditions whatever the temperatures. Technology that ensures the most grip in the Michelin range.



CASING-REINFORCEMENTS
A tyre’s casing is made up of threads, the thickness of which varies according to the tyre range, makes it robust, flexible, efficient and lightweight. The more threads there are, the finer they are, making the tyre lighter. On the contrary, the less threads there are, the bigger they are, making the tyre stronger. TPI (Threads Per Inch) refers to the density of threads per inch.

Thanks to its additional protective ply running from one bead to the other, Michelin SHIELD CASING improves resistance to external attack on the sidewalls and reduces punctures due to impact or pinching.

4x55 TPI casing provide maximum grip and high-speed stability on all hard terrain (compacted dirt/pebbles/Bike Park). 4xPly Down Hill Shield casing and puncture-resistant reinforcement, gives you maximum control at low pressure. Ranges: MICHELIN DH tyres

Tubeless Ready tyres can be fitted without an inner tube provided that a tubeless wheel is used, the maximum pressure is not exceeded, sealant is added and the tyre pressure is checked before each ride.

Occasionally, stock mispricing may occur and the item you purchase may be at the wrong price by mistake. If this happens and the amount you paid exceeds the correct price, we will refund the difference. If the amount you paid is 10% or more below the correct price, we will refund your payment and provide you with a gift voucher worth 10% of the amount you paid, to a maximum of $20.
